This is my old album which I tranferred from my worldisround website. It was my 2nd trial of using slr camera and my 1st trip using my own cam.

[ A week tour in Northern Vietnam, we basically spent our time walking in Hanoi and Sapa. It was the end of winter, the weather was quite nice but we have to wear our rain coats during the last few days. I still remember clearly of the traffic, while walking on the streets of Hanoi, you really have to watch out for the anarchic mtorbike traffic that required your constant attention all the times.

Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Water Puppet Theatre, Hang Be Market, Hanoi Old Quarter consisted of 36 streets (the streets were name according to the merchandise being sold), St Joseph’s Catherdral (located at the French Quarter), Tran Quoc Pagoda etc were the places that we have visited. My advice is to be aware of the taxi drivers in Hanoi, and check the price before ordering any food even in food stall; it was not a good experience coz we might ended up being charged for double or triple prices. ]
